Sales Manager

Location: Bericap France, located in Dijon area

BERICAP group is one of the leading companies in plastic closures industry, serving beverages (carbonated soft drinks, water, juices,...), food (edible oils, vinegar, sauces, honey,...) and industrial markets (lubricants, chemicals,...).
With 24 plants in 21 countries, the BERICAP group employs more than 3500 people and has reached a revenue beyond 800 M€ in 2018.

BERICAP France is looking for an experienced sales representative to join the existing commercial team and take care of a customers portfolio. He will promote the company’s products and develop a profitable business providing valuable solutions to our customers and prospects.

Your profile

  • You have a degree from a Business School (international trade option) with sales experience in the plastic packaging sector, ideally food business
  • Further skills in mechanics, plastics, packaging technologies and machinery will be useful
  • Very good interpersonal skills: "know how" and ability to adapt to the different hierarchical levels of its interlocutors, especially among customers
  • Ability to rely on a good general, industrial and economical culture
  • Sense of business relationship and customer service
  • High interest in the technical dimension of our products
  • Autonomy Reactivity
  • Language skills: English and French are imperative prerequisite

Job description

  • Prospection, negotiation and commercial follow-up of multinational and local customers acting in the markets targeted by BERICAP France
  • Monitors the revenue and margin associated with related budget
  • Contributes and promotes the image of the company through its business developments and contributes to the commercial success of the product range
  • Ensures the dynamic of sales by the management and the follow-up of the commercial agents in remote geographical areas
  • Takes an active part in the development of the sales budget
  • Collects and shares all the necessary information for effective orders management and follow-up of the accounts administration
  • Keeps the hierarchy informed on field activities, market trends, competition, market prices, any opportunity or risk that may have an economic impact for the company
  • Attends trade shows
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives of the company
